An East Texas man, after having some Coke and a Smile decided to let the dogs out, or atleast that he was a dog.
Terence Loyd, 32, of Lufkin was arrested in March after construction workers saw him on his hands and knees eating mud and growling like a dog.
Loyd later plead guilty in Louisiana to possession of cocaine.  Who would have guessed?
District Attorney Richard Johnson says a plea agreement reached Thursday during pretrial conferences means Terence Loyd, 32, of Lufkin, will spend the next five years in the pound prison. Lloyd initially had faced a string of drug charges.
Johnson says all but the cocaine possession charge were dropped in exchange for Loyd’s flea plea.

Loyd was arrested after workers saw him rolling in mud and acting like a dog. Loyd had ingested so much mud that he started throwing up mud when he was jailed.

Authorities suspected the use of a hallucinogenic drug contributed to Loyd’s delusions.

By now we have all heard the horror stories about people dieing recently from diseases spread from soft-drink can tops that had been contaminated with rodent droppings and urine. Now a man in Ormond Beach , Florida,  has found a rodent inside his diet Pepsi!

The Food and Drug Administration is testing a Diet Pepsi can that a central Florida man claims had the remains of a possible rodent inside. Fred Denegri of Ormond Beach took a few sips from the can on July 23, only later to discover what was inside. He said the rodent was big enough that it wouldn’t come out of the can.

Pepsi officials said Wednesday they traced the can back to the manufacturing plant in Orlando and didn’t find anything wrong with the company’s quality controls and soda sampling. Spokesman Jeff Dahncke said it’s unlikely that something like this could happen during production.

Denegri called poison control after the discovery, but he didn’t become sick. The 55-year-old says he’s a Pepsi fan and will keep drinking it.

Well, he might continue drinking them…  But from now on, I’m strickly a 2-liter person…..

HEALTH  WARNING !

I’m all for recycling and helping keep the planet green…  This, however, is just a little overboard!  This literally make me sick to my stomach…

Although I know that I probably shouldn’t, I always put my ponytail holder between my teeth as I pull up my hair as I’m sure millions of women do.  NEVER AGAIN!  I may never wear my hair in a pony tail again…

‘These cheap and colorful rubber bands and hair ties sell well . . . . Threatening the health of local people,’ it said .
Despite being recycled, the hair bands could still contain bacteria and viruses, it said .

‘People could be infected with AIDS, (genital) warts or other diseases if they hold the rubber bands or strings in their mouths while waving their hair into plaits or buns,’ the paper quoted a local dermatologist who gave only his surname, Dong, as saying . A bag of ten of the recycled bands sells for just 25 S en (three cents), much cheaper than others on the market, accounting for their popularity, the paper said .

About a year ago, the makers of Red Bull, the famous caffeine-loaded energy drink, decided to come out with a soda, unsurprisingly named Red Bull Cola. The shared name implied the same big kick. But could the cola’s boost – supposedly “100% natural” – come from something else? Officials in Germany worry that they’ve found the answer – cocaine. And now they have prohibited the soda’s sale in six states across the country and may recommend a nation-wide ban.

“The [Health Institute in the state of North Rhine Westphalia] examined Red Bull Cola in an elaborate chemical process and found traces of cocaine,” Bernhard Kuehnle, head of the food safety department at Germany’s federal ministry for consumer protection, told the German press on Sunday. According to this analysis, the 0.13 micrograms of cocaine per can of the drink does not pose a serious health threat – you’d have to drink 12,000 liters of Red Bull Cola for negative affects to be felt – but it was enough to cause concern. Kuehnle’s agency is due to give its final verdict on Wednesday when experts publish their report.
